Palkhi Aagaman celebrated on 6th June 2019
The school preserves the precious and traditional culture of ‘Vaarkaris’ by celebrating the ‘Palkhi Aagaman’ with great enthusiasm . Students showcased their best by dressing up as Vaarkaris adorning themselves by carrying handmade palkhis and saffron flags. The importance of the tradition was emphasized by performing a ‘Dindi’ in which the tiny tots of std I were dressed up like Lord Vitthal and Godess Rakumai . Students danced to the rhythm of songs in praises of great saints like Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram. Long live our Indian culture and tradition.
