‘Krishna Janmashtami’ on 26th August 2024
The AISSM Society’s SSPM Primary Day School celebrated the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Krishna also known as ‘Krishna Janmashtami’ on 26th August 2024. The school gate was decorated with a cardboard effigy depicting the ‘Sheshavtaar’ of Lord Krishna. The program started by garlanding the photo of Lord Shri Krishna by the students. The cultural program entailed the enacting of skit by students followed by the dance programs. Students also delivered informative speeches on this occasion. The program concluded with the traditional ‘Dahi-Handi’ feat performed by the students. Students made a pyramid to break the traditional pot filled with sweets. The environment of celebration filled the aura of happiness in students’ heart. In a nutshell, the program conveyed the importance of Indian traditions to the students.
