Guru Purnima Celebrations on 19 th July 2024 at AISSM SSPMS Primary Day School
Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu Guru Devo Maheshwara. Guru sakshat parabrahma tasmai Shri Guruve Namah. The AISSM SSPMS Primary Day School celebrated Guru Purnima on 19 July 2024. On this auspicious occasion, the school gate was decorated with an effigy of Guru-Shishya. The decorations were applauded by the students and parents.The program was organised for
students to make them understand the importance of the day. Students were shown a short film pertaining to the importance of Guru. Students also enthusiastically participated in the celebrations by giving speeches, performing a traditional dance and enacting a skit of Dronacharya and Eklavya. The school headmistress Mrs. Shanti Chareja felicitated the teachers by giving them the handmade greeting card by students and a rose flower. She also addressed the students about the importance of teacher and encouraged students to derive maximum knowledge from whatever good they learnt at school. In a nutshell, the celebrations helped the students to understand the importance of Guru in Indian culture
