Annual Sports Day Celebration at AISSMS SSPM Primary Day School
AISSMS SSPM Primary Day School celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and excitement on 2nd December 2025 on the school grounds. The event witnessed energetic participation from students and was filled with vibrant performances, thrilling races, and a strong display of sportsmanship.
The programme began on a traditional note with a floral tribute to Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, followed by the ceremonial torch lighting. The impressive march past by the students, accompanied by a lively school band, added grandeur and set an inspiring tone for the day.
Students of Standard I to IV showcased remarkable coordination and discipline through synchronized ring and ball drills, rhythmic dumbbell exercises, and graceful aerobic movements. The track events brought excitement and healthy competition among the young participants. Races such as the 25m and 50m sprints, balancing-the-book-on-the-head race, 50m hurdle race, and ring race kept the audience cheering throughout.
The celebration concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony where the Honorary Headmistress and senior teachers felicitated the winners with medals and certificates. The Annual Sports Day proved to be a memorable and successful event, promoting teamwork, confidence, and physical fitness among the tiny budding athletes of the school.
