Summer Camp 2025

AISSMS SSPM Primary Day School Summer Camp Report

Theme: “Anger Management”

Dates: 21st April 2025 to 27th April 2025

The AISSMS SSPM Primary Day School successfully organized a week-long Summer Camp for children aged 4 to 10 years, focusing on the important theme of ‘Anger Management.’ Around 25 enthusiastic parents registered their wards for this enriching experience.

The students were divided into two age-appropriate groups — 4 to 7 years and 8 to 10 years — to ensure activities were well-suited to their developmental stages. Each day was packed with thoughtfully planned activities such as art and craft, playground games, dance, and singing.

Some of the key highlights included:

Emotion Charades, Story Time Sessions, Breathing Exercises and Meditation, Correlating Anger through animal sounds, Anger Pictionary, Compliment Circle, Puppet Acts and Skits on Real-life Situations.

In art and craft sessions, students created paper plate faces, angry monster masks, stress balls filled with fine sand, volcano coloring sheets, and angry emoji drawings — all aimed at understanding and expressing their emotions creatively.

Other engaging activities like connecting chains, gratitude jars, and friendship bracelets taught children the importance of calming down and managing anger triggers positively. Playground activities further fostered teamwork, collaboration, and empathy among the participants.

The camp concluded with a grand showcase on 27th April 2025, where students presented their creations and performances to their parents. Parents wholeheartedly applauded the initiative, praising the efforts of the school and mentors. Each student proudly took home their artwork packed in handmade paper bags, creating unforgettable memories. Each participant was awarded a picture frame and a certificate of participation.

The program was graced by Dr. Sapna Vijay Malshikare, a physiotherapist and nutritionist by profession, as the Chief Guest. She lauded the students’ performances and the teachers’ dedication. Dr. Malshikare also addressed the parents on the importance of balanced nutrition in children’s overall development.

The school attributes the resounding success of the Summer Camp to the constant encouragement and visionary guidance provided by Honorary Secretary Shri Maloji Raje Chhatrapati, whose efforts continue to ensure quality education and holistic growth opportunities for the young minds.

In conclusion, the Summer Camp was a vibrant, educational, and joyous experience that left lasting impressions on the little minds!
