Krishna Janmashtami celebration at AISSMS SSPM Primary Day School on 14th August 2025
The AISSMS SSPM Primary Day School celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on 14th August 2025, with great enthusiasm and devotion. The entire school premises was transformed into a vibrant, festive atmosphere decorated with flowers, festoons, and colourful rangoli, setting the perfect mood for the occasion.
The celebration began with the garlanding of Lord Krishna’s idol by the Headmistress, accompanied by students.
A teacher spoke to the assembled students about the importance of Krishna Janmashtami. The captivating narration about Lord Krishna’s birth highlighted key values such as love, friendship and righteousness
Students of Standard IV put up a graceful dance performance,thereby filling the surroundings with joy and devotion.
The highlight of the celebration was the traditional Dahi Handi event. Students enthusiastically formed a human pyramid to break the pot, recreating one of the most beloved traditions associated with Krishna Janmashtami.
The event successfully brought the cultural essence of Krishna Janmashtami to life and helped foster unity, excitement and devotion among students.
The day concluded with students and staff feeling inspired by the messages of the festival and the spirit of togetherness in their school community.
