Independence Day Celebration 2025

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated in our school on 15th August 2025 with great zeal, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour. The entire campus was adorned with tricolour flags, streamers, and flowers, creating an aura of pride and festivity. The day’s program commenced with the garlanding of the idol of Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaj – a symbol of courage, valour, and leadership – to pay homage to the ideals of bravery and patriotism.

Following this, the National Anthem was sung in unison by students, teachers, and parents, filling the air with national pride. The spirit of patriotism was further enhanced as students presented melodious patriotic songs that echoed the sacrifices and glory of our freedom fighters.

Speeches were delivered by both students and teachers, underlining the significance of Independence Day and reminding everyone of the struggles endured to achieve freedom. A student recited a touching patriotic poem, which stirred the emotions of the audience and reinforced the feeling of love for our great motherland.

The highlight of the cultural segment was a vibrant patriotic dance performance by the students of Standard III. Their well-coordinated steps, colourful costumes, and energetic presentation won the admiration and applause of everyone present.

The Honourable Headmistress’ of Nursery and Primary section then addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of responsibility, discipline, and unity in nation-building. She encouraged all students to follow the values of truth, hard work, and integrity to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.

The celebration concluded with the vote of thanks and distribution of sweets to students, staff, and parents, spreading joy and togetherness. The entire event was a grand success, leaving everyone inspired and deeply connected to the spirit of freedom.

The day served as a reminder that Independence is not just a celebration, but also a responsibility — to preserve the values, culture, and hard-earned freedom of our great nation.
