Teachers Day celebrated on 5 th Sep 2023
Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 5 th September 2023 to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli
Radhakrishnan, a scholar, philosopher, and Bharat Ratna awardee, who was born on this day in
1888. The celebration started by garlanding and bowing down to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli
Radhakrishnan. The teachers were felicitated at school with handmade greeting cards by students
and roses. Students presented informative speeches about Teacher’s Day. The skit carrying a moral
value was also enacted by artists from an organisation for children .
