Shivjayanti was celebrated on 19th February 2024 at our school with great pomp and reverence. The corridors and premises were decorated according to the theme of the celebration. The handmade craft of weapons used during Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s era and models of the forts were displayed. The students enacted the birth of Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the traditional song. Students disguised as elephant, distributed sweets to students according to the tradition. Traditional Powada and Lathi Kathi were presented by students to the audience on the occasion of celebrations. Speeches were presented by the students, teachers and Headmistress. Quiz Competition was also organised for the students, in which each class showed active participation.
