Republic Day Celebrated with Patriotic Fervour at AISSMS SSPM Nursery and Primary Day School
AISSMS SSPM Nursery and Primary Day School marked the celebration of 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of patriotism.
The program began with the Headmistress, Mrs. S. P. Chareja, garlanding the idol of Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaj, paying homage to the legendary leader and his enduring ideals.
The atmosphere resonated with national pride as the National Anthem was sung, followed by the recitation of the National Preamble by the students under the guidance of their teacher, reaffirming the constitutional values of the nation.
The impressive March Past was presented by the students of Std. IV. The students showcased remarkable discipline and coordination while parading smartly, as they themselves played musical instruments, adding grandeur and rhythm to the display. The performance reflected teamwork, confidence, and a strong sense of patriotism
Primary school students captivated the audience with a melodious patriotic song, while two confident students from the Sr. KG section delivered thoughtful speeches expressing their love and respect for the country.
Mrs. Vaishali Ingale, a teacher from the Primary section, addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Republic Day, emphasizing the role of discipline and responsibility in nation-building.
The program was further enriched by a synchronized dance performance by the Nursery students, an energetic dumbbell drill by the students of Std. III, and a vibrant patriotic dance by the girls of Std. IV, who effectively conveyed messages of unity through slogan boards.
In her concluding address, the Headmistress stressed that the nation can truly uphold the spirit of a republic only when its citizens follow rules and act responsibly.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets to students and staff, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and joy.
